Sponsorship Sales Executive

A unique sales opportunity has arisen within ViB events, the leading international B2B conference organisation.

We are currently seeking a talented individual to join the highly successful and motivated Sponsorship Sales team working on conferences run in worldwide locations including Barcelona, Prague, Lisbon and New York. Our successful conferences represent an excellent opportunity for a highly driven sales professional to help build on our already successful propositions.

To succeed in this role you will need to be able to forge effective senior level client relationships with a wide range of global blue chip organisations.

Ideally you will have a real passion for sales, thrive under pressure, be extremely self-motivated and have real business acumen. You will be comfortable undertaking both telephone and client facing sales presentations on a global basis. You will be responsible for the complete sales cycle from initial research and targeting to negotiating and closing complex sales deals. You will also be expected to develop long-term revenue from event sponsorship.

You will have a minimum of 1-2 years sales experience. An advanced level of written and spoken English. A second language would also be useful.

Conference Producer

Location: London, Paddington

Description:

An exciting opportunity exists to join ViB events’ conference production team, developing business-to-business events across a variety of market sectors. As conference producer, you will be working on projects from conducting initial research on fast-moving business issues through to attending and running your own events on the day.

Although this is not a sales role, you must be able to demonstrate a confident and persuasive manner on the telephone as you will be conducting business research with leading professionals from throughout industry, and also identifying and personally inviting top quality speakers to deliver presentations at your events. You will also have proven copywriting experience and an ability to quickly get to grips with often complex issues.

A key part of the role is working closely alongside marketing, sponsorship, sales and operations to ensure the success of your events, so you must be a good communicator and team player, and be able to manage your own workload effectively, adhere to deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment .

This is an ideal position for someone with a degree and has 12-18 months experience in a similar role, preferably within a commercial conference company (although other related experience will be considered).
